Promit Bhattacharya
Partner, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer
Promit is a Partner and the CFO & COO at Top Tier Capital Partners (TTCP). He has twenty-plus years of experience in fund of funds, asset management, and firm management. Promit oversees the Firm’s finance and HR departments, as well as leads the financial management and reporting of the firm and its funds.
Prior to joining TTCP in 2020, Promit was a Partner at Frame. There, he advised leadership teams and investors on business strategy focused on talent and finance.
Previously, he was a Partner and CFO at West, a venture fund and design studio, where he established the finance function and helped raise West’s first venture fund. Prior to West, Promit led finance and operations at multi-billion-dollar funds with diverse investment strategies, including SVB Capital, WestBridge Capital, and Hall Capital Partners. He began his career in the Audit practice of Deloitte and was a Senior Manager in the Transaction Advisory practice at Ernst & Young, advising mid-market private equity investors.
Promit holds a B.A.in Economics and an MAcc from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Promit serves on the board and finance committee of the Headlands Center for the Arts. He enjoys traveling, cheering on the Wolverines, and sharing financial advice with friends and family over a great meal and bottle of wine.
