Eric Fitzgerald
General Partner
Eric is a Boston-based General Partner and member of the Investment Committee at Top Tier Capital Partners (TTCP). He has twenty-plus years of experience in the private equity investment community and is a value-added investor in venture across all sectors, stages, and geographies.
Prior to joining TTCP in 2018, Eric invested in private equity as an institutional limited partner, managing assets for large insurance companies like Liberty Mutual and MetLife as well as for other funds of funds. While at MetLife, Eric served as the Head of Domestic Private Equity. Additional experience includes having been a Partner at Thomas Weisel Global Growth Partners and working in the Private Equity Markets Group at Liberty Mutual.
Eric holds a B.S. in Economics from Union College and an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
He lives on the South Shore of Massachusetts with his wife and two children. He enjoys the local seashore, hiking, biking, golf, and skiing. As a born-and-raised New Englander, Eric is a huge Boston sports fan.
His favorite meal is a good steak paired with great red wine.
