Marcus Detry
Head of Platform
Marcus is the Head of Platform at Top Tier Capital Partners (TTCP). He supports the Velocity program’s portfolio companies, leveraging Top Tier's vast array of assets as well as his experience as a founder and operator.
Marcus is a board member of Kaptyn, and board observer for OutRival. Previously he led the enterprise business for EV Connect, building it into the market leader and facilitating its acquisition by Schneider Electric. A two-time founder, Marcus has extensive experience in AI, having deployed solutions across multiple Fortune 1000 companies. He also scaled a new business segment at World Kinect, growing from $0-$2B in revenue over 6 years. He began his career building quantitative models for Legg Mason and holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BS in Finance from Clemson University. Marcus lives in Miami with his wife, daughter, and two rescue dogs. In his free time he enjoys traveling, fitness, and following the NBA.
