Prior to graduation, Dan spent the summer as an equity research analyst at Eastbay Capital, a long/short equity hedge fund based in New York. Previously, he was an intern with Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

He holds a B.A. in political economy from the University of California at Berkeley.

Dan is one of five siblings, with one older brother and three sisters. He also has three nieces and two nephews. His parents still live and work in his hometown of Buffalo, New York.

When not working, Dan is doing anything and everything he can to be outside. Dan was a competitive rower throughout high school and at UC Berkeley, he is now in the beginning phases of what he hopes will be an illustrious career as a noncompetitive rower. He is also highly mechanical and loves working with his hands. When he's not watching the Buffalo Bills play on Sunday afternoons, he can be found wandering around the house looking for things to break, so he can fix them.

Dan puts his passion for craftsmanship to work through Habitat for Humanity, where he has been a "builder" for 6 years. He also loves volunteering alongside his parents at Summit Academy, a school for children with autism and other developmental delays. His favorite food is a turkey sandwich.
